An Israeli national chief operations officer (COO) of a call center in Metro Manila was arrested in Pasay City for alleged involvement in crypto investment fraud in Germany.
According to a report by John Consulta in Unang Balita on Friday, the Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit arrested the suspect Levy Kfir at a restaurant in Pasay City.
It was realized that the suspect had a warrant of arrest in Europe and an INTERPOL notice for his involvement in crypto investment fraud that allegedly victimized 200 German nationals.
According to the chief of the Bureau of Immigration of the Fugutive Search Unit, Rendel Sy, the suspect's company earned nearly P400 million due to the said investment scams.
